Busy Barn Mini Farm is a family run children’s farm just outside the beautiful village of Dunmore East, only 15 minutes drive from Waterford City and Tramore.
It provides a fun, educational and great value day out for adults and children alike, whatever the weather.
Busy Barn Mini Farm has lots to keep the kids occupied – meet the animals, have fun outside, or discover the indoor play area.

The Cullinane Family
Indoors
No matter what the weather enjoy the soft play area for kids up to age 12.
We have large climbing frames, ball pools, slides and lots more.
The entire kids area is covered in foam flooring for comfort.
We have a separate area for under fours to ensure safe play for all ages.
NEW! BABY BARN
We are delighted to introduce our new outdoor covered Baby Barn. Full of small slides, low climbing equipment and even a fire truck and school bus! Suitable for under fours.
Outdoors
The outdoor areas at Busy Barn Mini Farm are as exciting as the indoor area!
Our animals and birds in our mini farm are very excited to meet you all! We have a pony, pigs, sheep, goats and Terrance the Turkey likes to show off to visitors. Our ducks and geese will have a great chat with you as you pass by! And the rabbits often have little baby bunnies they like to show off too!
There’s lots to play on: swings, slides and a climbing frame.
We have little tractors and cars to pedal around in.
And our SAND BARN with sand pit, buckets and spades even has a cow for you to practice your milking skills!
We also have an outdoor eating area where the adults can relax with a cuppa, and something nice to eat, from our café while the kids play.
Food & Drink
Relax in our cosy and colourful Wren’s Nest Café next to the indoor soft play with a lovely cup of coffee or tea. Enjoy our delicious homemade cakes, snacks, Morelli ice cream and light lunches. We have indoor and outdoor eating areas.

Birthday PARTIES, groups & schools
BIRTHDAY PARTIES
We offer two hour Birthday Party packages all year round which include entry to the mini farm and indoor and outdoor play areas, kid’s meal, popcorn, and unlimited cordial for each child.
Price is €16.50 per child for two hour session.
The package also includes an Ice Cream Birthday Cake and free pass gift for the birthday child.
Please note we can’t allow any birthday cakes or food to be brought in for food safety reasons. Thank you for your understanding.

Party Package Booking T&C’s: Party packages MUST be prebooked in advance and are subject to a €50 non-refundable, non-transferrable deposit. The remaining balance must be paid on the day of the party.

SCHOOL TOURS
We offer school tour packages which include private use of the mini farm and indoor and outdoor play areas. Please note minimum number for school tours is 20 children.
Package 1 €12 per child – bring your own packed lunch
Package 2 €17 per child – includes hot lunch and juice. (Gluten free options available)
Teachers are free and can enjoy complimentary tea and scones!

Available to purchase at our front desk so easy to buy when dropping your child at a party!
Our vouchers can be redeemed against entry to Busy Barn Mini Farm, or for food and beverages in the café. They cannot be redeemed for cash.
